Handling Custom Requests Without Getting Burned
Agree on terms in chat, then send a custom offer. The buyer pays only after you accept.
How a custom order runs
- The buyer messages you with a request.
- You agree on the item, wear days, extras and price in chat.
- The buyer submits the request as an order, or you send a custom offer.
- You review it and click Accept. This is your chance to say no. The buyer has paid nothing yet.
- After you accept, the buyer pays at checkout in Cash App, Strike or 25+ other apps. You are paid about 3 seconds later.
- You ship with tracking and a package photo.
The order is approved by you first, and paid by the buyer second. Never ship before the order shows as paid.
What to charge
- Price the extra work. A custom 3-day wear with photos costs more than a listed item. Add $10 to $25 over your usual rate.
- Put every detail in the offer: item, days, extras, shipping method.
- Do not drop your price because a buyer says "last time was cheaper."
Saying no
You can decline anything that makes you uncomfortable. "That is not something I offer" is a full answer. If someone keeps pushing, report them.
If it goes wrong later
A buyer can open an order request. You both have 72 hours to agree on a fix: re-ship, full refund or partial refund, paid by you. Keep your tracking and package photo handy. Details are on the disputes page.
