Connect your payout app
Pick one app, enter its handle in Financials, and every sale and tip lands in it about 3 seconds after the buyer pays. Most problems come down to one setting in your app. Here is how to fix each one.
Know your payout app's rules
- Each payout app is its own company with its own rules. No app has approved DiscreetPanties, and the rules are between you and your app.
- Cash App's rules don't allow selling adult photos or videos. Payouts arrive as a normal Bitcoin payment, but if Cash App reviews your account, it can close it and hold the money in it.
- Selling photos or custom content? A wallet you run yourself, like Alby Hub, can't be closed by anyone. It takes more setup.
- Move money out of your app often so less is ever at risk.

Cash App
Cash App pays you over Lightning, which runs on Bitcoin. So Bitcoin has to be turned on in your Cash App before it can take a payout. It takes about a minute. You do not have to buy any.
- On your phone, tap here to open Cash App on the Bitcoin screen. Or open Cash App and tap the Bitcoin card on the home screen.
- Tap the arrows button next to Buy and Sell, then Receive bitcoin. Finish any quick check Cash App asks for (usually name, birthday and the last 4 of your SSN).
- Come back to Financials and enter your cashtag, like $yourname. Copy it from your Cash App profile so the spelling is exact.
1. Tap the Bitcoin card
Open Cash App. On the home screen (bank icon, bottom left), tap Bitcoin.
2. Tap the arrows
The arrows button is next to Buy and Sell. You do not have to buy any.
3. Tap Receive bitcoin
If Bitcoin is already on, you will see a code. You are done.
4. Finish the quick check
Usually name, birthday and the last 4 of your SSN. Then come back here.

Cash App can take a few minutes to switch on after its check. The payout card checks again on its own every few seconds while it is open. Already closed it? We keep checking your cashtag every 3 hours for 2 weeks and send you an alert as soon as it works. Cash App also caps Lightning at about $999 every 7 days. Selling more than that? Use Strike.
Strike
- Install Strike and finish its sign-up.
- Your handle is your Strike username plus @strike.me, like [email protected].
- Enter it in Financials.
River, Wallet of Satoshi, Phoenix, Blink and others
- Open the app and find Receive.
- Look for your Lightning address. It looks like an email, for example [email protected] or [email protected].
- Copy it and paste it into Financials.
Any app that gives you a Lightning address works, including Alby, Coinos and ZBD.
Outside the US
Cash App only works in the US. It closed in the UK in 2024 and never opened in Canada. You can still get paid. Any app that gives you a Lightning address works, and payouts land the same way: about 3 seconds after the buyer pays.
Canada
Wallet of Satoshi
Quickest setup. Install it, tap Receive and copy your Lightning address, like [email protected].
Shakepay
Best if you want Canadian dollars in your bank. Tap Bitcoin, then Deposit, switch to Lightning and claim your Lightning address. Sell for dollars in the app and send them to your bank by Interac e-Transfer.
Strike is not available in Canada yet, so skip it.
United Kingdom
Strike
Your address is your username plus @strike.me. Set Strike to receive into your pounds balance and every payout turns into pounds on arrival, ready to send to your UK bank.
Ireland, Europe and New Zealand
Strike
Works across most of Europe and in New Zealand. Your address is your username plus @strike.me, and you can receive into your euro or local balance.
Australia
Wallet of Satoshi
Install it, tap Receive and copy your Lightning address. Strike is not available in Australia yet.
Somewhere else? Strike works in 98 countries, listed here. Wallet of Satoshi works in most of the rest of the world.
Paste the address into Financials, the same as anyone else. Buyers in any country pay the same way, so nothing changes on their side.
Fixing the common errors
- Turn on Bitcoin in Cash App. Cash App will not take payouts until Bitcoin is on, and it gives the same answer for a typo. Check the cashtag matches the one under your name on your Cash App profile, then follow the Cash App steps above and wait a few minutes.
- Handle not found. The app does not recognize that address. Copy it straight from the app's Receive screen instead of typing it.
- Amount too small. Some accounts refuse very small payments. You can still connect; the 5¢ test is skipped and you confirm your spelling instead.
- Payout limit reached. Cash App's weekly Lightning cap is used up. Add a Strike handle or wait for it to reset.
- App isn't answering. The app is having a hiccup. Try again in a few minutes.

Common questions
Has Cash App or any other app approved DiscreetPanties?
No. DiscreetPanties has no agreement with any payout app. Each app is its own company with its own rules about what you can sell, and those rules are between you and your app. Cash App's rules, for example, do not allow selling adult photos or videos. Read your app's rules before you pick one.
Why does Cash App say "Bitcoin payment"?
Payouts travel over the Lightning network, which runs on Bitcoin. Each one is worth the full dollar price of the sale at that moment. Leave it as Bitcoin or tap Sell in Cash App to turn it into dollars whenever you like.
Can I get dollars instead of Bitcoin?
Yes. In Cash App, go to Bitcoin, then Ways to use bitcoin, and turn on Receive Lightning as dollars (Cash App charges 0.9%). In Strike, go to Account, Bitcoin, Receive currency and choose cash (1% fee). Not available in New York on Cash App; use Strike there.
Do I need to buy Bitcoin?
No. You never buy anything. Turning Bitcoin on only lets your app receive payouts.
I am outside the US and cannot use Cash App. Can I still sell?
Yes. Cash App only works in the US, but any app with a Lightning address works. In Canada use Wallet of Satoshi or Shakepay. In the UK, Ireland, Europe and New Zealand use Strike or Wallet of Satoshi. In Australia use Wallet of Satoshi. See the Outside the US section above.
Can I switch apps later?
Yes. Open Financials in your Model Dashboard, tap Update Destination and enter the new handle.
