How to Stay Anonymous Selling Panties: PO Boxes, Names and Photos

Keep your home address, legal name and face out of every sale, from the label on the parcel to the photos in your shop.

Most sellers want buyers to know them by a display name and nothing else. That is easy to do, but it takes a few habits. The two places people slip up are the return address on the parcel and the details in their photos. This guide covers both, plus your name, your payment details and your chats.

What buyers can and cannot see here

  • Buyers see your display name, your profile photo, your bio, your posts and your listings. You choose all of it.
  • Buyers never see your ID. It goes only to our verification team.
  • Buyers never see your payout handle. They pay at checkout, and the platform pays you.
  • Buyers see your return address only on the parcel itself. That is the part you control with a box.

Why your return address matters

You ship every order yourself, so your return address ends up in front of every buyer. Do not use your home address. A PO Box or private mailbox costs a few dollars a month and fixes the problem for good.

Your two options

OptionPaperworkGood to know
USPS PO BoxPhoto ID plus Form 1093 at the post officeCheapest. USPS only, so UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to it.
Private mailbox (CMRA)USPS Form 1583 and two IDsGets a street-style address and takes any carrier. Costs more.

If you ship mostly with USPS, a PO Box is enough. If you want to ship or receive with UPS or FedEx, or want an address that looks like a street address, a private mailbox at a shipping store is the better fit.

Set it up

  1. Pick a box at a location you can visit weekly. Returned parcels land there.
  2. Bring your IDs and sign the form. The clerk or mailbox owner checks your ID, and some private mailboxes ask for a notarized form.
  3. Enter the box as the return address in Pirate Ship or USPS Click-N-Ship.
  4. Use your seller name or a business name on the label, never your legal name if you can avoid it.

Pick a seller name

  • Choose a display name you do not use anywhere tied to your real life: not your gamer tag, not your email name.
  • Make a separate email address for selling, and use it for your seller account and your social accounts.
  • If you promote on Reddit or X, use accounts made only for selling. Never cross-post from a personal account.

Photos that do not give you away

  • Turn off location in your camera app, or remove location data before you upload. Photo files can carry where they were taken.
  • Watch the background: mail with your name on it, a view from your window, school or work logos, family photos.
  • Cover or crop tattoos, birthmarks and jewelry you wear every day if you do not want them recognized.
  • Keep your face out of shot unless showing it is your choice. Plenty of sellers never show their face.
  • Run a reverse image search on your own photos now and then. If they turn up somewhere you did not post them, report it.

Keep your chats clean

  • Do not share your home address, workplace, school or city, even if a buyer asks nicely.
  • Do not move a buyer to your personal number or social account. Keep every deal in the app.
  • Ask buyers only for a delivery spot. A PO Box or parcel locker on their side is fine.
  • If someone pushes for personal details, decline the order and report them.

Buyers give you their delivery details in private chat. The platform never collects or stores shipping addresses, so keep that thread clean. See keeping your identity private in chat.

What not to do

  • Do not make up an address. Undeliverable parcels get returned to nowhere, and you lose the item.
  • Do not drop parcels in the box nearest your home if the postmark worries you. Any post office works.
  • Do not reuse old mailers with labels or barcodes from your own deliveries.

Your money stays private too

You are paid to your Cash App, Strike or one of 25+ other apps. Buyers never see that handle, and their bank statements show only the app they paid with. For tax reporting we may ask for a tax form once your yearly sales reach $500. It is stored encrypted and never shown to buyers. More in taxes for sellers.

Common questions

Can I sell used panties anonymously?

Yes. Buyers see only your display name and what you post. Use a PO Box or private mailbox as your return address, keep your face and background details out of photos, and keep every chat in the app.

Do buyers see my real name?

Not on the site. The only place it could appear is the return address on your parcel, which is why sellers use a seller name or business name and a PO Box.

Is a PO Box or a private mailbox better?

A USPS PO Box is cheaper and fine if you ship with USPS. A private mailbox costs more but takes any carrier and gives you a street-style address.

Does DiscreetPanties see my address?

We keep your ID for age verification. The platform never collects or stores shipping addresses for orders. Buyers and sellers share delivery details in private chat.
